Winter Falls drops 134 (40.84 meters) feet as it cascades from the ledges of basalt. To reach this falls, hikers leave the main canyon trail via the Winter Falls footbridge. The trail is steeper and near the falls, the grade is eased with switchbacks. Another way to view this falls only and from above, is to park in the Winter Falls pulloff on Highway 214 south of the North Falls Parking Lot.
